France

Paris
In Paris, you must spend at least 2 or 3 days and it is without a doubt one of the most beautiful city on the planet. It is situated on the River Seine, in northern France, at the heart of the Île-de-France region and it is regarded as one of the major global cities, along with London, New York and Tokyo. Paris's location at a crossroads between land and river trade routes in lands of abundant agriculture had made it one of the principal cities of France by the 10th century, rich with royal palaces, wealthy abbeys and a cathedral; by the 12th century Paris had become one of Europe's foremost centres of learning and the arts. Today, Paris is a major influence in politics, fashion, business, arts and science. The city serves as an important hub of intercontinental transportation and is home to universities, sport events, opera companies and museums of international renown, making it the most popular tourist destination in the world with over 30 million foreign visitors per year.

Lyon
The city of Lyon counts 1.2 million inhabitants. It is the centre of the second most important region in France after Paris. It has an ideal European location, midway between London and Milan, Brussels and Marseille, Munich and Madrid. The international airport at Lyon Saint-Exupéry is one of the main hubs for air transport in South-East Europe. Thanks to the TGV highspeed train, it is only two hours from Paris, Geneva and the Mediterranean Coast. Lyon is a gourmet's paradise. With the exception of Paris, the city boasts the largest number of restaurants and famous chefs in the whole of France.

Marseille
Capital of the Mediterranean region, offers its visitors the authenticity of its 26 centuries of history, the friendliness of its inhabitants and the riches of its heritage. Come and explore its 111 districts, enjoy its mellow lifestyle, discover its museums and its exceptionally beautiful rocky creeks. Marseille has the charm of those towns you can never forget. We highly recommend to visit the little fishing harbours, Marseile markets and exhibition at the Vieille-Charité.

Bordeaux
This city is worldwide famous for its wines, but the city itself is drawing the attention of tourists thanks to its gothic cathedrals and 18th century mansions.

Nantes
Nantes is known as the European capital of good living. Experience the gentle winds from the West, the aroma of natural salts, the lights dancing on the Loire, the calm café atmosphere, the tropical trees in the botanical garden...and of course the Muscadet, Nantes' famous wine.

Strasbourg
It is a perfect place to walk around. Rich with a historic centre that is a Unesco World Heritage Site, Strasbourg is best explored on foot, by bicycle, by river boat or on the mini-tram. A city with authentic traditions but also dynamic, modern and cosmopolitan! Do no miss the visit of Notre-Dame cathedral and its astronomical clock, Ponts Couverts and the panoramic terrace of the Barrage Vauban, Orangerie Park and The breweries.
