Calabria, "the pearl of the South", has its own authentic charm. The Club Med Resort lies in 20 hectares of idyllic Mediterranean gardens.
Shielded by the shores of the Sea, Calabria, known as "the pearl of the South" has its own authentic charm and delightful beaches. Embedded in an enclave of bougainvilleas and exotic plants, the hotel and bungalows in the Club Med Resort of Napitia are distributed over 49 acres of luxurious gardens bordered by a forest of pine and eucalyptus trees. Follow the path down through the sweet-smelling pine forest to reach the beach. Inspired by La Dolce Vita, you can choose to dedicate yourself to sports or discover the joys of taking it easy the Italian way and enjoy the Club Med Spa by Decleor*.
Non Smoking Resort
The entire resort (not the rooms) is non smoking.
Parks & Gardens
Gardens composed essentially of cypress trees and pine trees without forgetting the many bougainvilleas.
Beach
Superb 650 feet long public beach (reserved area for Club Med) located approximately 1500 feet from the centre of the resort that is reached by crossing a very beautiful pine grove. It is made of medium-grained sand covered with gravel at the waters edge. Delimited swimming area.
This beach is equipped with loungers, parasols, showers and a beach bar.
Accommodation
The Club Med Resort of Napitia has 582 rooms divided between the hotel and bungalows.
The hotel consists of several buildings. All the rooms in the hotel have a balcony.
The second section, called "8 Stecche", is the bungalows. Located in the heart of the resort, they consist of 2 floors with no elevator.
Club
2 rooms separated by a door. Additional options include the Family Club Bungalow. Located on the ground floor of the bungalows, it consists of
two connecting rooms with a shower-room in the middle.On the first floor of the bungalows it consists of two rooms, one of which a mezzanine, accessible by a spiral staircase.

Restaurants
A tasty and creative cuisine, associated to an "art of the table". Our chefs rivalize to keep inventing and suprizing you at every meal.
The Terrazza
Located close to the hotel and swimming pool, this restaurant serving a varied buffet of international cuisine also gives you the opportunity to discover a few local and regional specialities on certain evenings.
There is a baby corner where parents can prepare meals for their little ones.
The "Bougainvillier"
This restaurant invites young and old alike to come and discover international cuisine through its varied buffets.
The Golfo
This restaurant,located on the beach, has a dual personality and a panoramic view over the sea. At lunchtime, snack-type food is served. As of the 1rst of July 2011,In the evening, take your time to enjoy dinner in a more refined, intimate atmosphere as you discover and savour our speciality menu.
BABY CORNER special service
This baby corner, located in the main restaurant offers food adapted to the little ones as well as the utens.
Bars
Enjoy without counting,day or night (whilst our bars are open) in all of our Resorts (nightclub included).

Main bar "Le Cambusa"
Located in the heart of the Resort facing the swimming pool, this bar welcomes young and old alike throughout the day. In the evening, the atmosphere kicks up a gear as soon as the dance floor opens...
A snack service is also available.
Beach Bar Il Golfo
Facing the sea, during the day this bar is the ideal place to revitalize yourself between sports activities or provide a pleasant setting to a morning or afternoon's lazing around. In the evening, come and enjoy the sunset as you try a cocktail with friends.

This Club Med Resort will fulfil everyone's vacation desires. Children and adults alike can pick and mix activities to create the perfect combination between sports, relaxation, parties, fitness and discovery.
Tennis School - Included in your package
The Sports Schools propose the best equipment and facilities for tennis enthusiasts. Beginners and experienced players all benefit from the best conditions in which to practice their sport.
- Quality teaching by G.O®s trained in their discipline, to introduce beginners to this sport and enable experienced players to make real progress.
- Group lessons 6 days a week to ensure you master your movements.

Your babies are in the safe hands of our passionate G.Os®. Personalized welcome,after breakfast with the family, start off with early-learning activities, meals, rest and hugs: in total safety, the Baby Club Med® program combines gentleness and respect for each child's natural rhythms. Educational activities, walks and naps to refresh your child before outdoor play. And, of course, a tasty afternoon snack.
From 6.30 pm, the Baby Restaurant welcomes babies and their parents for an evening meal with the family.

In Napitia, a thousand color birds and the nice little wolfs welcome the litlle ones in a haven of peace...A new area designed especially for them
At this age, we are no longer a baby, but we still need to be closely monitored.
It’s the time for those first discoveries: the leisure of waking, walking and outdoor play, a full and balanced lunch (especially designed for the needs of the young), a nap or quiet time, creative activities and of course, snack time, a true feast for those with a sweet tooth!
The activities follow the progress of children, distributed into age groups.
From 7.30 pm, after dinner with parents, children return to the Petit Club Med®. While the parents have a peaceful dinner, the young ones finish their day with a calm evening.
For your information: Diapers and formula are not provided at the Petit Club Med®.

Create and let off steam. At this age, children have a thirst for everything... The Mini Club Med® has planned everything to respond to this need of discovery in all directions. Sport, fun and creative activities. Children are distributed into sub-groups according to their age. One hour shower stop before dinner.

Juniors Club Med® (From 11 to under 18 years old)

Freedom and fun for teenagers.
Offered during school vacations, it's a Club Med classic for teens, they are split into two age groups(11 to 13 years old and 14 to 17 years old).
Club Med offers everything but imposes nothing. A real mind set that the teenagers love.
Junior Club Med enables them to meet amongst themselves and hang out or take part in the resort activities.

Teenagers are the responsibility of their G.O®s only for the duration of the activities devised specially for them.
Excursions
Cruise to the Ionian Islands (one day)
Excursion recommended by our Discovery Center.
Discover the majestic landscapes of the islands where the gods and giants lie dormant at the heart of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Visit the acropolis of Lipari and the Eodian museum and charming harbour. At Vulcano, stroll through the back streets of the village and enjoy the benefits of its sulphur-rich spa water. The return boat trip passes by the Islands of Panarea and Stromboli (depending on the weather). * Site registered on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
Reggio Calabria and Scilla (1 D)
Excursion recommended by our Discovery Center. Right at the tip of the shoe of Italy, Reggio was founded in the 8th century BC by the Greeks, a period of great splendour... rich in history and tradition. A guided tour to the not-to-be-missed National Museum which houses amongst other treasures the famous Bronzes de Riace. Then take a walk into the heart of the town, admire the Neo-Roman style cathedral and its superb baroque chapel and Aragon-style castle.

Tropea (half-day)
Excursion recommended by our Discovery Center. Located atop a cliff with a sheer drop down to a turquoise sea and still with many traces of its age-old history, Tropea leaves no-one indifferent. You will love its churches, the Norman-style Dome, the narrow backstreets and even the shops.

Vibo Valentia, Pizzo and Piedigrotta (1/2D)
Your journey will begin with the village of Vibo Valentia, where you will visit the archaeological museum and baroque-style duomo. Then youll be able to enjoy some free time in the village of Pizzo, either walking through the narrow streets in the old village center or tasting a real Calabrian ice cream, the tartufo. At the end, let yourself be surprised by the original "Piedigrotta".

For clients that have not purchased transportation with Club Med. Possibility of booking the transfers to the resort: Upon your arrival we will pick you up from the train station or airport and take you to the resort. Transfers to/from Lamezia airport*
The price corresponds to a private transfer for all participants. You can add this service at the time of booking or later on in your myclubmed space.
This can be done up to two days prior to your arrival in the resort.
